This guide will walk you through the process of cancelling a previously committed withdrawal from your liquidity position. This action allows you to reverse your decision to withdraw if your investment strategy changes or if market conditions shift.
First, ensure you're connected to the DApp and can view your existing liquidity positions.
Connect your wallet to the DApp.
Confirm you're on the appropriate network (e.g., Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, etc.).
Navigate to the Dashboard page to view your liquidity positions.
Choose the liquidity position from which you want to cancel the withdrawal commitment.
Review your active liquidity positions in the dashboard.
Identify the position that is currently committed for withdrawal.
Click on the specific position you want to uncommit.
Locate and select the "Uncommit Withdrawal" button associated with that position.
If your position has not been committed for withdrawal, the "Uncommit Withdrawal" action will not be available.
Before executing the uncommit transaction, carefully review all the information provided about the action you are about to undertake.
Read through the details provided, which may include:
Any implications on rewards or position status after uncommitting
Any fees associated with the uncommit action
If you agree with the terms and want to proceed, press the "Confirm" button to execute the uncommit transaction.
The uncommit transaction will now be processed on the blockchain.
Keep your wallet open and connected.
Wait for the transaction to be confirmed (this may take a few minutes depending on network congestion).
Do not close the browser or disconnect your wallet during this process.
Once the transaction is validated, your position should reflect the change in status.
Check your dashboard to see the updated position details, including:
The removal of any withdrawal countdown timers
The restoration of your ability to add liquidity or take interests
Confirm that your full liquidity amount is once again active in the position.
If the changes don't appear immediately, try refreshing the page.
Uncommitting a withdrawal may have implications on your rewards. You do not accrue reward during the commit period, so be sure to understand how committing & uncommitting affects your earnings.
By following these steps, you've successfully uncommitted a withdrawal from your liquidity position. Your liquidity will remain in the position, continuing to earn rewards according to the protocol's rules. Remember to regularly assess your investment strategy and make decisions that align with your financial objectives and risk tolerance.
