This guide will walk you through the process of withdrawing cover and strategy rewards from your liquidity position. Taking interests allows you to realize the gains from your investment while keeping your principal invested.
Some strategies might not allow taking interests from strategy rewards, in which case you will only receive the cover rewards.
First, ensure you're connected to the DApp and can view your existing liquidity positions.
Connect your wallet to the DApp.
Confirm you're on the appropriate network (e.g., Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, etc.).
Navigate to the Dashboard page to view your liquidity positions.
Choose the liquidity position from which you want to withdraw rewards.
Review your active liquidity positions in the dashboard.
Click on the specific position you want to take interests from.
Locate and select the "Take Interests" button associated with that position.
If your position has been committed for withdrawal, the "Take Interests" action will not be available. You'll need to wait for the withdrawal process to complete or cancel it before taking interests.
Before executing the transaction, carefully review all the information provided about the interests-taking action.
Read through the details provided, which may include:
The amount of cover rewards available
Any strategy rewards available (if applicable)
Any fees or taxes that may be deducted
The impact on your position after taking interests
If you agree with the terms and want to proceed, press the "Confirm" button to execute the take interests transaction.
The take interests transaction will now be processed on the blockchain.
Keep your wallet open and connected.
Wait for the transaction to be confirmed (this may take a few minutes depending on network congestion).
Do not close the browser or disconnect your wallet during this process.
Once the transaction is validated, you should see the rewards in your wallet and the changes reflected in your dashboard.
Check your wallet balance to confirm the received rewards.
Review your dashboard to see the updated position details.
If the changes don't appear immediately, try refreshing the page.
Frequent interests-taking might impact your overall returns due to transaction fees.
If you're only receiving cover rewards and not strategy rewards, make sure you understand why this is the case for your chosen strategy.
By following these steps, you've successfully taken interests from your liquidity position. Remember to regularly assess your investment strategy and take interests in line with your financial goals and market conditions.
