How to Payout or Withdraw an Accepted Claim

This guide will walk you through the process of releasing payment for a claim that has been accepted, whether you're the claimant withdrawing your own payout or a third party triggering payment for someone else's claim.

Steps to Payout or Withdraw a Claim

1. Access the Appropriate Page

First, ensure you're connected to the DApp and navigate to the correct page for your situation.

1. Connect your wallet to the DApp.

2. Confirm you're on the appropriate network (e.g., Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, etc.).

3. If you're withdrawing a payout from your own claim, go to the Dashboard page.

4. If you're triggering a payment for someone else's claim, go to the Court page.

2. Locate the Relevant Claim

Find the specific claim for which you want to trigger the payout or withdrawal.

1. Browse through the list of claims on your chosen page.

2. If the claim has been accepted, you may see a "Withdraw" or "Pay" button directly next to it.

3. For a more detailed process, click the "View claim details" button to access the claim's detail page.

Begin the process of releasing the payment for the accepted claim.

1. Locate the "Pay Claim" button within the Payment tab.

2. Click the "Pay Claim" button to start the payout process.

5. Review and Confirm the Payment

Carefully review all details before finalizing the payment transaction.

1. Read all the information provided about the action you are about to undertake. This may include:

   • The total amount to be paid out

   • Any deductibles or fees that will be subtracted

   • The final amount the claimant will receive

2. Ensure you understand and agree with all terms of the payout.

3. If everything is correct and you're ready to proceed, press "Confirm" to execute the payment transaction.

The payment transaction will now be processed on the blockchain.

1. Keep your wallet open and connected.

2. Wait for the transaction to be confirmed (this may take a few minutes depending on network congestion).
